This is the initial release of the MVC version of the eWeather Forecast module.

You can download the new version of the eWeather Forecast Module, version 1.4.1, here: mod_eweather_1.4.1.zip.

Please note that the older versions of the component will not work with the new version of the module, and the older versions of the module will not work with the new version of the component.  I am going to renumber all the component and module releases at 1.4.x to keep them all straight.

I have set up new forums for discussing these MVC versions here: Joomla 1.5.x MVC eWeather Extensions.  I don't expect you'll find a lot of problems, but if  you do, please use the new forums.

Please let me know if you find any problems or have any questions.

I fixed all the XHTML Validation errors on the front-end of the component and on the module.

Somewhere along the line, I had messed up several of the language files.  I fixed those and updated the 1.4.1 versions.  If you're having problems with translations, please download the latest 1.4.1 and see if that fixes it.  If not, please post a message to the translations forum under Joomla 1.5.x MVC eWeather Extensions.

We found a couple of bugs in the new versions over the past couple of days: SEF wasn't working unless you had "Add suffix to URLs" set to "yes" and clicking on the publish/unpublish icon in the back-end Location Manager caused a 500 error.  I figured out both of those and created new versions.  NOTE that you have to use the 1.4.1 version of the module with the 1.4.1 version of the component, since there were changes to the SEF routing mechanisms.

I have been working for a couple of months on MVC versions of the eWeather Component and Modules, and the main component and module are ready for broader use.  I've been exercising them for about a week now, and they seem pretty solid.
